Hello and greetings from Karuizawa. Our homepage has gotten another facelift for the winter season.

We only take reservations up to three months in advance.
After making an internet reservation, you will receive an automatic e-mail with the details and reservation number. One of our staff will also contact you through e-mail when it gets closer to the day you will be checking in with us for final confirmation.
Please make sure there are no mistakes in your given contact information.
Failure to return the final confirmation e-mail or false contact information given will be considered the terms for the cancellation of your reservation.
Please note that there are no English speakers in our service staff.
All services are conducted in Japanese.
Cancellation rates are as follows:
Cancellation on the day of check-in: 100% of the room charges
Cancellation one day prior of check-in: 70% of the room charges
Cancellation two days prior of check-in: 50% of the room charges
Payment can be made with a major credit card (Visa, Mastercard, and American Express) or by cash (Japanese yen). We do not except any foreign exchanges of currency.
We provide a complimentary shuttle service for our guests who need transportation support from the JR Karuizawa Station.
Our check in time is from 15:00. Check out time is until 11:00.
From the JR Karuizawa Station, it is about a 15 minute (7 kilometers) drive to our hotel. We provide the shuttle service free of charge.
Please note that the shuttle service is on a first come first serve basis and is for reservation only so we might not be able to arrange the shuttle service at your desired time. The time slots are 15:30 pm, 16:30 pm, and 17:30 pm.
We provide this service for checking in and checking out purposes only and only from the JR Karuizawa Station (North Exit) to Ancient Hotel.
There is also the option of taking a taxi or public bus. Both can be found at the North Exit of the Karuizawa Station.
